Dr Zhiyuan Luo

Brief Biography

Zhiyuan Luo studied for a BSc in Computer Science in China. He completed his PhD in Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He worked on a number of UK and European research projects in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary College, University of London. Before joining Royal Holloway, he was a technical consultant with Cable and Wireless. His main research interests are in probabilistic reasoning, distributed systems and agent-based computing, and applications of these algorithms and techniques.
